Intended Use and Distribution
This web environment was developed to extend educational materials to those
pursuing research-based information on crop technology. Individuals and
educational institutions are invited to use this site as a self-guided tutorial.
Additional uses for classroom situations or other learning or commercial
environments also may be available and are encouraged, given these uses
1) fall within the licensing intent outlined below and 2) there is no assumption
or transfer of intellectual property rights or copyrights. For licensing
arrangements for specific uses see contact information below.
The Crop Technology Web site is physically hosted at the University of Nebraska.
The phrase "as is" as used in the following language refers to use of the
materials on the host site. The site was developed using "open" standards
and tools, and is rendered using Apache, Perl, and MySQL technologies.
NOTE: A complete license agreement is pending. In the future, any presentation
of portions or modules taken from this site must include either 1) the license
agreement or 2) a link to the licensing agreement located on the Crop Technology
Web site hosted by the University of Nebraska.
Educational Institutions
1. Educational institutions may use the Crop Technology web site
"as is" including lessons, animations, and graphics. The University of Nebraska
and partnering institutions ask that use of these materials include appropriate
credit to the authors, to the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources,
the University of Nebraska, and partnering institutions.
2. In certain limited situations, an educational institution may
apply for access to the complete compliment of student registration and
testing options. Such arrangements will need to be made with the University
of Nebraska.
3. If interested in using portions or modules from the site, contact
the University of Nebraska. The University of Nebraska will reserve the
right to refuse any inappropriate use of these materials.
4. If interested in modifying any portion or module from the site,
contact the University of Nebraska to seek permission and to make the necessary
arrangements for distribution. Under this condition, the University of Nebraska
will be interested in access and use of any derivative products and services.
